If you are doing any business online whatsoever, you need to have a website. To some this might be a huge task, but I will offer you a few tips that will make it alot easier when you try to attack building your own.

WordPress makes life easy.

Use WordPress as your content management system, this will save you weeks if not months on development time. You can install this application many ways, but by far it is easiest through your hosting company.

Go with a great hosting company.

Use Godaddy to get yourself a .com website name. They also have a deluxe hosting package as well that you will need to get to host WordPress. This is how I start to build all of my websites and the small investment is WELL WORTH IT.

Get a premium template.

Then what you can do is go and find yourself a premium theme to use with your WordPress install and be up and running in no time looking very professional. Best of all your site is now running of of one of the worlds most powerful content management systems and you can install plug-ins to expand/increase the functionality of your website.

Content is key.

Now you need to work on the CONTENT of the site, and fully optimizing it to be visible on search engines. This is called SEO. There are some resources out on the net you can find about this if you take a look around.
